Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 October 2026

By installing or using AmpHoarder (the “Application”), and by tapping Agree and continue in it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Application.

Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Application. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the agreement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms for you.

Licence

AmpHoarder is free software: you can redistribute it and modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License, version 3 only (GPL-3.0-only), as the Application itself says in Setup › About. It comes with no warranty, to the extent the law allows. Components it includes under other licences are listed in its open-source notices, in the same place.

The optional AmpHoarder account and its services (sign-in, backup and posting rigs) are provided by Cloud Code Tree LLC under these terms. You may use them for yourself. You may not offer them to third parties as a service, or use them to break the law or anyone’s rights.

Hearing and safety

The Application plays captures, impulse responses and effects at the level they were made, and some are loud enough to damage your hearing or your equipment. Set your volume low before you play, raise it slowly, and keep headphones at a level you could listen to for hours. You are responsible for your volume, for your hearing and for the equipment you connect. Do not use the Application where a sudden loud sound could hurt you or anyone else.

Your content and third-party models

Captures, impulse responses and other files you import remain the property of their respective rights holders. You are responsible for holding the necessary rights to any file you import. Attribution shown in the Application is supplied by the catalogue or by the file itself and is reproduced as received.

Tones you browse and download come from TONE3000, a separate service with its own terms, under their creators’ licences. Cloud Code Tree LLC does not own, check or answer for them, and TONE3000’s terms govern your use of its service.

Posting rules

When you post a rig to amphoarder.com, its name, description and tags, and your name and handle, are public. Before your first post you agree not to post:

Reporting. In the app, open a posted rig and tap Report to report the rig or its author. On the web, a rig’s page links to an email report. We read every report.

What we do. We may hide or remove a post, and suspend an account’s posting. A post that three different players report is hidden until we review it.

Appeals. If we hid or removed your post or suspended your posting, email support@amphoarder.com and tell us why it should come back.

No warranty

THE APPLICATION AND ITS SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS. We do not promise that the Application or its services will be available, accurate, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that your rigs, backups or posts will be kept.

Pre-release software

Builds distributed on a testing track are pre-release. Features may change or be withdrawn. The Application is not intended for use where failure could cause harm.

Limit of our liability

To the extent the law allows, Cloud Code Tree LLC, its members and the Application’s contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, hearing, equipment, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Application or its services or from being unable to use them, even if told such damage was possible. For any other claim, our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and fifty US dollars.

Some places do not allow these limits; where they do not, they apply as far as allowed.

Your responsibility to us

You agree to defend and hold harmless Cloud Code Tree LLC, its members and the Application’s contributors from any claim, loss or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from what you post or import, from how you use the Application, or from your breach of these terms or of anyone’s rights.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and the Application asks you to agree again before you go on after a change. You may stop using the Application at any time, and delete your account in Setup. We may suspend or end your access to the account services if you break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The licensor is Cloud Code Tree LLC. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect.
